How To Use Tesla Key Card Model Y
Let’s jump into how we use the Tesla Key Card for our Model Y. It’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it. 🚗💨
First, to unlock the vehicle, we tap the key card on the B-pillar (the vertical support between the front and rear doors). This is like our car’s handshake! Make sure the card reader detects the card with a beep or blink.
🔧 Starting and Stopping:
Once inside, we place the key card on the center console card reader. To start driving, push the brake pedal and shift into gear. When we’re done, shift to park and tap the card again to lock.
Managing Keys
We can also add or remove key cards using the Tesla app or the car’s touchscreen:

- Go to Security & Drivers.
- Select Add Key Card.
