Rewind to Paris, France, in the late 1950s

We’re traveling back to Paris, France, during the late 1950s. The picture below was taken on the Place de la Condorde, which is right next to famous landmarks like the Jardin des Tuileries and the Arc de Triomphe. We’re not sight-seeing, though, we’re here for the cars.

What car(s) can you identify in this picture? What one(s) would you most like to have in your garage?  Given the chance, we’d run to one of the early 2CVs or one of the split-window Beetles.
