We’re traveling back to the Val d’Isere ski station in the Savoie department of France. The picture below was taken during the 1960s.
What car(s) can you identify in this image? What one(s) would you most like to have in your garage? We’ve got dibs on the yellow Giulia on the left side of the photo.
The picture was kindly provided by the Voitures des années 60 Facebook page.
Problem trying to zoom in on the pic – says it has a redirect loop and there are too many redirects?
Weird, we just made some changes to the site so maybe that’s where the issue comes from. We’ll look into it, thanks for pointing it out.
i will take the beetles and 124 coupe. i cannot enlarge this photos, for some reason, so hard to tell what is in the background.
Is the gold car behind the man on the right a Chrysler 180?
Graham, it’s an Opel Rekord Coupé 1967-71, with special “double” headlights for the French market. They were rectangular elsewhere.
My favorite is the DS Pallas in the foreground. The most sought after ‘nose’ and preferably with a ‘Jaeger’ dash
But I wouldn’t run away from the yellow Giulia either!
