Rewind to Val d’Isere, France, in the 1960s

We’re traveling back to the Val d’Isere ski station in the Savoie department of France.  The picture below was taken during the 1960s.

What car(s) can you identify in this image?  What one(s) would you most like to have in your garage?  We’ve got dibs on the yellow Giulia on the left side of the photo.

The picture was kindly provided by the Voitures des années 60 Facebook page.

  1. i will take the beetles and 124 coupe. i cannot enlarge this photos, for some reason, so hard to tell what is in the background.

  2. Graham, it’s an Opel Rekord Coupé 1967-71, with special “double” headlights for the French market. They were rectangular elsewhere.
