The idea is the same as our “test your steel wheel IQ” series: can you name the make and model the following wheel covers come from?
In some cases we have blacked out the logo in the middle because it would have been too easy to guess otherwise. Also, there are several right answers for some of these wheel covers.
1.
2.
3.
4.
1. Citroen AX
2. Peugeot 205
3. Renault 18
4. Citroen BX
Good arrows that man ……
I thought the first one was from an Audi 80, first. Funny how similar the hubcaps of two so different cars are.
Ha, that was part of why I chose these – hubcaps are sometimes very similar. You’re right, it’s an 80. I think I have an AX hubcap in my shed, I’ll take a side-by-side pic one of these days.
1 is not an AX – the rest are correct.
1-Citroen Xm
2-Talbot?
3-Renault, some sort that isn’t present in Turkey
4-Citroen Bx
1. Nope
2. Close
3. Renault, though I think it was sold in Turkey. Maybe not with those hubcaps, though.
4. Correct.
No 1 is I seems to me to be from the Citroen CX Croisette, the 1988 special edition based on the CX22TRS. Mine all fell off after about 60,000 miles
They do look like the ones on the Croisette, good eye, but that’s not it. Same era but not a Citroen.
Hello,
The number 4 it’s a cover from Citroen BX 19 GT.
Yep, correct!
The first one is from Audi 80
Yep, good eye!
