We’re traveling back to Paris, France, in 1981. The first image below shows the parking lot of the CitĂ© Internationale des Arts, a place that provides aspiring artists with affordable housing and studio space, and the second shot shows the front of the building.
What car(s) can you identify in the following pictures? What one would you most like to have in your garage?
Personally, we’d go with either the late-1960s Volkswagen Bus with the pop-out top or the Peugeot 304 coupe in the foreground of the first shot. The Autobianchi A112 in the second picture is tempting, too.

i will take both VW buses and the R8 (maybe it is a 10)
I will take the Citroen CX, the two Renault 4s and the Renault 20 as a backup car 🙂
I cannot identify the car between the two VW Bus … otherwise I would take the nice first gen CX
Maybe a Peugeot 304…

To Ed (late answer): I think it might be a Panhard… And I’d like to take a ride in the Autobianchi, such a nice drive in Paris (the 80’s Paris, obviously. These days you just can’t even drive there).
The R20 and the pick of the R4’s looks good but the 2 door Ford Cortina/Taunus mk4 at the foot of the first photo is very appealing – rare as rocking horse droppings in the UK
