We’re currently in Las Vegas, Nevada to cover the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show for work. There isn’t much here that’s Ran When Parked-worthy because the focus of the event is on late-model cars modified with a long list of aftermarket accessories, but the 1993 T100 SR5 trophy truck displayed by Toyota caught our eye.
Built by Precision Preparation, the truck earned a series of victories in the late 1980s and early 1990s including 17 Baja 500s and two Baja 1000s.
Power for the 4,000-pound truck came from a purpose-built 3.5-liter V6 engine bolted to a manual transmission. 12-inch brake rotors took care of stopping duties while a heavy-duty suspension with 22 inches of travel up front and 26 inches out back helped the truck get over even the roughest terrain.
