Color-coded advertising: Yellow

Yellow has never been a popular car color anywhere in the world. Not only is it one of the least discreet colors out there, it is typically associated with vehicles that belong to fleets like postal services (in Germany and in France, for example) or taxi cabs – everyone has heard of New York City’s famous yellow cabs.

Still, some vehicles can pull off yellow better than others. Which car do you think looks best in yellow?

  1. Um, that is a difficult choice. Most of those look fine in yellow. In fact most would look even better if equipped with some decent alloy wheels instead of the naff steel wheels (the Jeep in particular) but I reckon my favourite has to be the Mini with the Dyane in a close second.
