Ran When Parked traveled to the beautiful Ardèche department of France yesterday to photograph the 16th annual Monte Carlo Historique rally. Our favorite automotive event by a long shot, the rally did not disappoint and we saw a wide array of amazing machines that came from all over the world.
We won’t say any more about it until we publish a full report later this week. In the meantime, can you identify what make and model the following steel wheels belong to?
To be fair, we should mention that the first picture was taken at the impromptu car show that took place next to the check point. The rest all come from cars that are participating in the event. Also, there are several possible right answers for a lot of these wheels.
1. Renault (prob an 18 or a fuego)
2. Porsche 356
3. Ford, maaaaybe an anglia
4. Saab 95/96
5. Possibly a BMW
The second is most likely a Porsche 356 (rear right).
The rest I’ll have to pass.
1, 2, and 4 are good.
3 was on a Cortina, but it works too.
Paul, can you elaborate on 5? You’re close.
It’s a BMW 3-Series (E21)
